The annual celebration themed: ‘Just Like That’ will hold from October 12th and October 18th 2015 and as expected, this year edition will parade top of the Nigerian acts which include Davido, Wizkid, Femi Kuti and many others. The event will begin with a symposium on topical issues which will hold at Neca House, street parades, photo exhibitions and musical performances at the New Afrika Shrine in Alausa, Ikeja. Artists to perform on Monday include: Simi, Praiz, Peppenazi, Sossi, Teeblaq, Adol, Chinko Ekun, Danagog, Kemi Katz, Yun K, Emmerson, Prince Banton, Bolaji Da Boy. Dolu, Ketchup, Henry Knight, Minjin, Xplosion, Jaiye Keyartist, Little Doctor, Ceaser, Spydaman, Mr Smith Lib Money, Nassa Boy, Muri Thunder, Buzzor Dils, Magneto, Oresco, Jixxle, B Red, Shina Rambo, Shadow D Don, D Truce, Scalar, Dj Chascolee, Dj Dagaz, B&G Dance Group, T Heart, Bammy K. Felabration is a celebration of the life and times of the Afrobeat icon. It chronicles his ideals and everything he lived for. The Board of Trustees of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), under the chairmanship of Mallam Adamu Fika, has re-affirmed its commitment to the indivisibility of Nigeria. They made this affirmation in a statement issued yesterday, in Kaduna, and signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Muhammad Ibrahim. The statement noted with dismay, the recent embarrassing and divisive statements from some elder statesmen which are capable of causing disaffection among the various components of Nigeria. It advised such elements to employ civility and caution in their utterances for peace and harmony to prevail in our fledgling democracy. In particular, the statement was unhappy with the activities of MASSOB and other ethnic agitators who are fond of calling for disintegration of the country after 55 years of independence....DB2PMedia

Wizkid has revealed how Drake got on his Ojuelegba track.Speaking to Ghanaian radio station Empire FM, he detailed how Drake contacted him via Instagram and asked that they meet up in London where they recorded the remix version of the song.... @DB2PMedia “I was there and saw that Drake followed me on Instagram so I DMed him and I was like ‘Yo, I’m a big fan of your music’ and he was like I like your music as well.
